How to Walk the Dog
After casting, let the lure settle and create a little slack in the line between the lure and rod tip. Twitch the rod tip to start the lure moving forward, then drop the tip back to give slack again — the lure will glide sideways in a zigzag action. This keeps the lure in the strike zone longer while calling fish in from a distance. Fish it slow or fast, into current or across the target zone for best results.
