The Bleeding Mullet pattern imitates a wounded, bleeding mullet on the surface — one of the most irresistible triggers for predatory fish that key in on injured baitfish.
How to Fish It
The classic popper technique is to 'bloop' it across the surface — twitch the rod tip downward so the concave face throws up a splash and bubble trail, then pause. Repeat with a steady rhythm. The lure imitates anything from a distressed baitfish to a bug, mouse, or lizard skipping across the surface. Vary the speed and pause length to find what triggers a strike on the day.
