The Swimerz Reaper Micro Jig is a hybrid torpedo-style jig that drops rapidly to the bottom, generating noise and vibration through cavitation as it falls — then dances like a wounded baitfish on the retrieve. At 35g, it's the lighter option in the Reaper range, ideal for shallower reef work and situations where a smaller profile is needed to get bites.

How to Fish It

Slow wind with a twitch: The front blade does the work — a slow retrieve with a small twitch makes the lure dart and dance like a scared or injured baitfish. This is the primary technique for reef species.

Drop and lift: Fish close to the bottom, lift the lure a short distance out of the strike zone, then drop it back. Reef predators will often hit on the drop.

Beach and rock casting: Also effective when casting from the beach or rocks for Tailor and other inshore species.
