SeaSir ZERO-VX BFS Baitcasting Reel | 133g

The SeaSir ZERO-VX BFS baitcasting reel combines a compact 133g nylon body with a lightweight aluminium spool for light-tackle lure fishing. Its 7.6:1 gearing helps retrieve slack between casts, while adjustable magnetic braking lets you tune spool control to your lure and casting conditions.

Features

• Lightweight construction: approximately 133g, with a compact nylon body.
• Short-shaft aluminium-alloy spool: approximately 5.2g to keep rotating weight low.
• 7.6:1 gear ratio: a fast retrieve for picking up slack and working lures.
• Adjustable magnetic braking: tune braking to suit lure weight, wind and casting technique.
• Carbon-fibre drag washers: up to 4kg maximum drag.
• 6+1 bearings: stainless-steel sealed bearings.
• Metal gearing: aluminium-alloy main gear and brass pinion gear.
• Audible drag clicker: provides sound as line is pulled against the drag.
• Metal handle: twin purple soft-rubber grips.

Choose your retrieve hand

• Right Hand: turn the handle with your right hand.
• Left Hand: turn the handle with your left hand.

Choose the retrieve side you prefer when ordering. The Bearing Quantity option of 7 refers to the same 6+1 bearing arrangement in both versions.

Line capacities use line-size numbers, not millimetres or breaking strains. Actual capacity varies with line diameter and loading. The maximum drag is not a lifting capacity; set it to suit your rod, line and leader.

Available colours

Both retrieve options have the same dark grey and black finish with a purple spool, purple trim and purple handle grips. The options select retrieve hand, not colour.

What's included

One SeaSir ZERO-VX baitcasting reel with spool and handle, in your selected left- or right-hand retrieve.

Light-lure fishing

Pair it with a compatible BFS or light baitcasting rod for small-lure sessions targeting trout, redfin or bass. The compact body keeps the setup light in hand as you work along creek banks or make repeated casts around structure. Match lure weight to your rod rating and tune the reel before fishing.

Setup and care

Start with a high magnetic-brake setting, then reduce it gradually as you become comfortable with the lure and conditions. Maintain thumb control throughout the cast; magnetic braking does not eliminate backlash.

Keep sand and grit out of the reel, clean and dry it after use, and maintain the bearings regularly. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the reel.
