The Meredith EWG Offset Worm Hook is a premium extra-wide-gap worm hook designed for Texas, Carolina, weightless and jig trailer presentations with soft plastics. The EWG (Extra Wide Gap) design creates a larger gap between the hook point and shank than a standard offset hook, providing more space for bulky soft plastics — senkos, creature baits, craws and paddle tails — to collapse freely during the hookset without the body blocking the hook from penetrating cleanly. The Z-shaped shoulder bend locks the nose of the soft plastic bait firmly onto the shank, preventing the bait from sliding down or spinning on the cast and preserving the bait for longer between strikes. Supplied in 50-packs across 7 sizes from #2 to #7. All variants are weedless-capable when rigged Texas style.
