The Kingdom GT Picaduo is a heavy sinking pencil stickbait built with full through-wire construction for GT, kingfish, tuna and large offshore pelagics — the species class where standard body-mounted hook hangers are a liability. Through-wire construction runs a continuous stainless steel wire through the entire lure body from nose eye to tail, with the treble hooks rigged directly on the wire. A large GT or kingfish cannot pull the hook hanger out of the lure body because there is no separate hanger to fail — the wire is structurally independent of the lure body itself. Four weights (49g, 69g, 75g and 90g) across two lengths (135mm and 150mm) cover light to heavy casting and slow-pitch retrieve styles from rock platforms and offshore boats. Through-Wire Construction

A sinking pencil without through-wire construction attaches the hook rings to hardware inserts moulded or epoxied into the lure body. Under the sustained load of a large fish running on heavy drag, these inserts can pull through the body or the hook hardware can separate from the body entirely, losing both the fish and the lure. Through-wire design eliminates this failure mode entirely — the wire transfers load directly between the line and the hook independent of the lure body, which only needs to carry the weight and provide the action. For GT and kingfish on 60–100lb leader, through-wire is the minimum standard for serious offshore and rock fishing stickbaits.
