The KastKing Zephyr spinning reel pairs a braid-ready aluminium spool with a carbon fibre drag system for freshwater and estuary fishing. Four models, from 1000 to 4000, let you match your setup to lure fishing for species such as bream, bass, trout and flathead.

Smooth retrieve and controlled drag

A 5.2:1 gear ratio and 7+1 stainless steel bearings support a smooth retrieve. The triple-disc carbon fibre drag offers up to 10kg maximum drag across the range, depending on model, while Double Sliding Stabilizer Rods help stabilise the internal slider.

Key features

  • CNC-machined, anodised aluminium spool with a braid-ready design that removes the need for mono backing.
  • Lightweight reinforced body and rotor construction.
  • Zinc alloy drive gear, manganese brass pinion gear and stainless steel main shaft.
  • Reversible folding aluminium handle with an EVA knob.
  • Ball-bearing line roller and line keeper.
  • Gloss and matt black finish.

  • 1000 Series: 0.185mm / 160m.
