HISTAR MS-X Spinning Fishing Reel

The HISTAR MS-X is a spinning reel with a 5.2:1 gear ratio, available in 1000, 1500 and 2500 Series options. Match your selected size to your rod and line for your next lure-fishing session.

The listed 1500 and 2500 models weigh 188g and 197g respectively, giving you two lightweight options with different drag ratings and line capacities.

1500 Series specifications

Reel weight: 188g.
Listed maximum drag: 5.5kg.
Line capacity: 0.147mm / 130m; 0.162mm / 115m; 0.180mm / 100m.

2500 Series specifications

Reel weight: 197g.
Listed maximum drag: 6kg.
Line capacity: 0.162mm / 180m; 0.180mm / 160m; 0.210mm / 140m.

Choosing your reel

Select your preferred Series from the options. The 1000 Series is available as a separate option, but its weight, drag rating and line capacity are not supplied in the current specifications. The 1500 and 2500 figures above should not be applied to the 1000 model.

Line capacities are listed by line diameter and length. Match your line and drag setting to your rod and fishing conditions; maximum drag is not a fish-weight rating.
