FishTrip Fluorescent Green Octopus Hooks are high carbon steel bait hooks manufactured with a 750°C vacuum quenching process — a heat treatment that increases the hardness, toughness and metallurgical purity of the steel by quenching at elevated temperature in a vacuum environment, eliminating surface oxidation during the process. The result is a hook body that maintains its shape under hard hooksets and sustained load from strong fish without bending or deforming. The fluorescent green electrophoretic coating is applied by dip-coating for uniform coverage and consistent corrosion resistance across the full hook surface, including the inner curves and eye where brush or spray-applied coatings often have thin spots. Chemically sharpened needle point for fast, low-resistance penetration. Up-turned eye for correct snell knot alignment. Available across sizes #7 to #6/0 in 25, 50 and 100-piece packs.
