Captain Jack's Gel Scent – Fluoro Red | 15g Tin
Captain Jack's Gel Scents are a premium Australian-made fish attractant that applies cleanly to any lure — plastic, rubber, or metal. On contact with water, the gel slowly releases a trail of particles that mimic the scales of a distressed baitfish, triggering feeding responses in a wide range of species.
The Fluoro Red colour adds a high-visibility UV element to your presentation, making it ideal for low-light fishing, stained water, or any situation where you want to maximise lure visibility alongside scent attraction.
Why It Works
The gel's core ingredients target both the gustatory (taste) and olfactory (smell) senses of fish. Formulated with proteins, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids — including purified RNA, nucleotides, oligosaccharides, and peptidoglycans — it's scientifically proven to stimulate feeding behaviour.
Key Features
- Made from natural Australian-sourced ingredients
- Safe for the environment and won't damage lure finishes
- Works on soft plastics, hard bodies, and metal lures
- Hardens on contact with water even if softened by heat
- 15g tin — compact and easy to carry on the water
Application Tips
- Stir before use to evenly distribute solid particles through the paste
- Apply lightly — a thin layer goes a long way; test to find what works for your conditions
- Try a solid spot on the head, a dab on the side as an attractor, or a light smear over the full lure body
- Reapply as needed throughout your session
Note: The gel may soften in high heat (e.g. left in a vehicle). Simply place the tin in cool water to restore consistency.
