Finesse Madbass Deep Diving Crankbait – Opaque Purple (85mm / 7g)

One of the most versatile hard body lures you can add to your tackle box. The Finesse Madbass is a floating deep diver engineered for a tight, aggressive wobble and a noise profile that predatory fish can't ignore. Opaque Purple is a proven big-fish attractor colour — highly effective in low-light conditions, at depth, and in tannin-stained or murky water.

What Makes the Madbass Different

  • Extended wide diving bib — catches more water for greater downward force and a stronger wobble
  • Tungsten ball bearing rattles (x2) — laterally aligned for maximum noise and a tight, distinctive action
  • Low-profile tungsten belly weight — keeps the lure upright and amplifies the diving bib's downward force
  • Floating design — rises on the pause, triggering strikes from following fish
  • Dives to 3–5 metres on a slow troll; will dig into the bottom and create a disturbance that often triggers a strike

How to Fish It

Cast to structure — rock piles, creek channels, ledges — and work it back with a steady retrieve or slow troll. The Madbass excels from boats, kayaks, and shore platforms. Let it pause occasionally to rise and trigger following fish.
