Five Structural Features, Five Functions

1. Ringed Body

The NEBULA body has horizontal rings running around the circumference at regular intervals along its length. As the lure moves through the water, each ring acts as a turbulence generator — the edge of the ring creates a micro-vortex and traps a small volume of water that oscillates between the rings during the retrieve. This produces a subtle, continuous undulating action through the body even at very slow retrieve speeds where a smooth-bodied soft plastic would appear lifeless. The rings also serve a secondary function: when the lure is tex-posed for Texas rig fishing, the ring edges grip the hook point and conceal it within the profile of the body, maintaining the weedless presentation without requiring the hook point to be buried deeply into the body material.

2. Eight Silicone Legs

The NEBULA has 8 silicone leg appendages extending from the body. Each leg is a thin, flexible silicone strand that moves independently of the others and of the body. In the water, the legs fan out and collapse alternately with each movement of the lure — rising on the pause, folding back on the retrieve, oscillating in current. The combined movement of 8 independent legs produces a complex, multi-element action that closely mimics the leg movement of a live shrimp or prawn. This action is effective at near-zero retrieve speeds and in static soak presentations where no body movement is occurring — the legs continue to move in subtle water currents even when the lure is stationary.

3. Nubbed Tail

The tail section is covered in small nubs or bumps on its surface. The nubs serve two purposes: they increase the tail’s surface texture, creating additional drag points that cause the tail to deflect and wobble erratically rather than tracking straight; and they reduce the contact area between the tail and underwater structure, decreasing the likelihood of the tail snagging on rock edges, timber and weed. 4. Salt+Shrimp Flavour

5. Splittable Tail

The tail section can be detached from the body of the NEBULA, allowing the two sections to be used independently.
