Rigging
Fish on a jighead matched to the fishing depth and current — typically 3–7g in shallow estuaries and up to 14g in deeper water or current. Hook through the nose of the body with the hook point exiting at the first rib for correct body alignment and action. Retrieve slowly with occasional rod tip lifts to vary the action. Effective on bream, flathead and sea bass on light spin gear in estuaries, around structure and over sandy flats.
