Choosing a line size

Available line numbers are #0.6, #0.8, #1.0, #1.2, #1.5, #2.0, #2.5, #3.0, #3.5 and #4.0. A line number is not a breaking strain in kilograms or pounds. Check compatibility with your reel, rod and intended setup rather than treating the number as a fish-weight rating.
