On the water

Use the lighter 1.53m models for compact presentations around small freshwater streams, or choose a longer model for extra reach along open banks. Match small minnows, soft plastics or other trout and redfin lures to the selected rod's lure rating. Add suitable terminal tackle and lures before heading out.
