HASIDA Butterfly BFS Telescopic Baitcasting Rod & Reel Combo

The HASIDA Butterfly BFS combo pairs a compact telescopic ultralight casting rod with a Butterfly Micro baitcasting reel. Choose from three rod lengths and left- or right-hand retrieve, with lure ratings of 1–8g for light-lure presentations.

Compact rod for travelling light

The eight-section telescopic rod packs down to 29–34cm depending on length. Its carbon construction, titanium-alloy tip section and Moderate Fast action provide a compact option for stream, lake and light shore fishing. UL describes the rod's ultralight power, while the lure and line ratings help you select suitable tackle.

All six options have UL power, a 1–8g lure rating, a 2–6lb line rating and eight telescopic sections. R and L refer to the hand used to turn the reel handle.

Butterfly Micro reel specifications

• Reel weight: 155g.
• Gear ratio: 7.1:1.
• Bearings: 5+1.
• Maximum rated drag: 6kg.
• Aluminium-alloy spool.
• Embedded braking system and wide-angle line guide.
• Line capacity: approximately PE #0.6 / 100m or PE #0.8 / 70m.

The reel's maximum drag is not the rod's working load. Set drag to suit the rod's 2–6lb line rating and your line, leader and knots.

Available colour

All options have a black/dark graphite rod and reel with red-orange accents. The existing option codes select rod length and retrieve side rather than different colours.

Care

Extend the rod carefully, align the guides and avoid forcing the slender tip. Keep sand and grit out of the telescopic sections. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water and dry before collapsing the rod; do not immerse the reel.
