SeaSir Commando Power Baitcasting Reel | 7.1:1

The SeaSir Commando Power baitcasting reel combines 7.1:1 gearing with a standard-capacity aluminium spool, adjustable magnetic braking and an audible drag clicker. Its nylon-composite body keeps the reel to approximately 188g, with brass gears and carbon-fibre drag washers providing a practical setup for lure fishing.

Features

• 7.1:1 gear ratio: picks up slack quickly between casts and rod movements.
• 6+1 bearing arrangement: includes two NMB high-speed bearings alongside sealed stainless-steel bearings.
• Dual-bearing pinion support: supports gear alignment between the brass main gear and pinion. This describes the gear support, not the total bearing count.
• Carbon-fibre drag washers: provide up to 9kg maximum drag.
• Audible drag clicker: sounds as line is pulled against the drag.
• Standard-capacity aluminium-alloy spool: short-shaft design with thickened spool wall and shaft.
• Adjustable magnetic brake: five N52 magnets with 30 adjustment settings to tune spool control.
• Aluminium handle with soft-rubber grips: provides a comfortable hold during retrieval.
• Tapered ceramic line guide: guides line from the spool during casting and retrieval.

Choose your retrieve hand

• Left hand: turn the handle with your left hand.
• Right hand: turn the handle with your right hand.

The selector is labelled Color, but these options select retrieve hand, not colour. The Bearing Quantity option of 7 refers to the same 6+1 bearing arrangement in both versions. Each selection includes one reel with a standard-capacity spool.

Available colours

Both retrieve options share a dark grey/gunmetal and black finish with red accents, a black handle and black soft-rubber grips.

What's included

One SeaSir Commando Power baitcasting reel with standard-capacity spool and handle, in your selected left- or right-hand retrieve.

Lure fishing

Pair the Commando Power with a compatible baitcasting rod for casting along riverbanks, lake edges and sheltered structure. The fast gearing helps recover slack after a twitch or pause, while adjustable braking lets you tune the reel as wind and lure choice change. Match lure weight and line strength to your rod's ratings.

Setup and care

Begin with a high brake setting and reduce it gradually to suit your lure, casting technique and conditions. Adjust spool tension and use thumb control throughout the cast; magnetic braking does not eliminate backlash.

Keep sand and grit away from moving parts, clean and dry the reel after use, and maintain the bearings regularly. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the reel; sealed bearings do not make the complete reel waterproof.
