The angler can attend to other rods or prepare bait without needing to watch the rod tip, relying on the alarm to signal a run. 8+1 Ball Bearing System

The ARCHER2 uses 8 ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing (anti-reverse bearing) for a total of 9 bearing points.
