PURELURE TORRENT 30T+40T Carbon Lure Rod
The PURELURE TORRENT combines a 30T+40T Toray carbon blank, Fuji Alconite guides and a one-piece moulded carbon-fibre grip in a two-section lure rod. Available in spinning and casting configurations, the range covers Light, Medium Light, Medium and Medium Heavy power options for freshwater and coastal lure fishing.
Choose a model to suit your reel, lure weight and fishing location, whether you prefer a shorter outfit for working close to structure or a longer rod for greater reach from the bank, beach or rocks.
30T+40T Toray Carbon Blank
The blank combines 30T and 40T Toray carbon cloth with four-axis construction and 45°+90° cross reinforcement. This multi-directional layup supports the rod through casting and fighting loads while keeping the blank light and responsive for repeated lure work. The fast-action design provides a responsive tip for casting, working soft plastics and hard bodies, and detecting contact during the retrieve.
Fuji Alconite Guides
Fuji Alconite ring inserts provide a smooth line-contact surface, paired with Fuji K-series anti-tangle guide frames. The guide system is designed to help line pass cleanly during casting and retrieval while reducing line wrapping around the frames. Bright accent wrapping provides a visible reference around the tip area.
Carbon-Fibre Grip and Reel Mounting
The one-piece moulded carbon-fibre grip gives the handle a firm, direct feel for lure control and bite feedback. Ergonomic metal fittings provide secure reel mounting, while casting models feature a Fuji ECS reel seat. Select the spinning configuration for a spinning reel or the casting configuration for a baitcasting reel.
Choosing Your Configuration
-
Shorter lengths: a practical choice for boat fishing, confined banks and close-range presentations where handling and casting control matter.
-
Longer lengths: extra reach for line management and casting from more open banks, beaches and rock platforms.
-
L and ML power: lighter lure presentations with a suitably matched reel and line.
-
M and MH power: larger lure presentations and outfits requiring more backbone.
Length and power vary by model. Match the selected rod’s lure and line ratings to your tackle rather than treating every TORRENT configuration as interchangeable.
