Suggested Techniques and Species
Start with a steady retrieve to work the jointed body, then vary speed and add short twitches or pauses. Observe its response beside the bank or boat to choose your presentation. Suggested lure-style targets include bass, Murray cod, pike, barramundi, mulloway, trevally and kingfish where fish are feeding on similar-sized baitfish. Match tackle and leader to the target and structure, and rinse after saltwater use.
