HISTAR AULA & AULA Air Spinning Fishing Reels

Choose from six HISTAR AULA and AULA Air spinning reel models for your lure-fishing setup. Carbon-fibre construction and a choice of spool sizes let you match your reel to your rod and line, with listed weights ranging from 142g to 187g across the range.

Prepare for your next session by comparing the individual specifications below. AULA and AULA Air are distinct configurations: weights, bearings, drag ratings and gear ratios should not be assumed to be identical.

Standard AULA models

  • AULA 800: 156g; 11 bearings; 5.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 5kg. Line capacity: 0.104mm / 160m, 0.128mm / 100m, 0.148mm / 80m.
  • AULA 1000: 156g; 11 bearings; 5.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 5kg. Line capacity: 0.120mm / 170m, 0.148mm / 130m, 0.165mm / 100m.
  • AULA 2500: 175g; 11 bearings; 5.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 5kg. Line capacity: 0.165mm / 200m, 0.205mm / 140m, 0.235mm / 100m.

AULA Air models

  • AULA Air 800S: 142g; 9+1 bearing system; 5.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 4kg; listed handle length 10.5cm. Line capacity by supplier line-size designation: #0.6 / 100m, #0.8 / 80m.
  • AULA Air C2500S: 152g; 9+1 bearing system; 5.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 4kg; listed handle length 12cm. Line capacity by supplier line-size designation: #0.8 / 160m, #1.0 / 130m.
  • AULA Air 2500SHG: 187g; 9+1 bearing system; 6.2:1 gear ratio; listed maximum drag 6kg; listed handle length 12cm. Line capacity by supplier line-size designation: #0.8 / 160m, #1.0 / 130m.

Choosing your configuration

Select the exact model from the Model selector. The Air 800S and C2500S offer the lowest listed weights in this range, while the Air 2500SHG has a higher gear ratio than the other listed models.

Line capacities are supplier-listed specifications. The Air table uses numbered line-size designations rather than verified millimetre diameters. Match your line and drag setting to your rod and fishing conditions; maximum drag is not a fish-weight rating.
