SeaSir Repeater Shallow Spool Spinning Reel | 1500S–4000S

The SeaSir Repeater shallow-spool spinning reel offers four sizes and a choice of handle packages for lure and squid fishing. Its 5.2:1 gearing, screw-in metal handle and cork grip provide a practical setup for steady retrieves, while the optional double handle gives you another handle style for working squid jigs.

Choose your size and handle package

All eight options in this listing use a shallow spool. The size codes are not colours, and the options labelled and 2 handles include a standard single handle plus an additional double handle. They do not include two reels.

• 1500S: size 1500S reel with single handle.
• 1500S and 2 handles: size 1500S reel with single and double handles.
• 2500S: size 2500S reel with single handle.
• 2500S and 2 handles: size 2500S reel with single and double handles.
• 3000S: size 3000S reel with single handle.
• 3000S and 2 handles: size 3000S reel with single and double handles.
• 4000S: size 4000S reel with single handle.
• 4000S and 2 handles: size 4000S reel with single and double handles.

Size specifications

• 1500S: approximately 228g, 7kg maximum drag and 0.20mm/100m line capacity.
• 2500S: approximately 240g, 12kg maximum drag and 0.24mm/110m line capacity.
• 3000S: approximately 281g, 15kg maximum drag and 0.24mm/130m line capacity.
• 4000S: approximately 287g, 15kg maximum drag and 0.24mm/160m line capacity.

Weights are approximate figures for the single-handle configuration. Fitting the double handle changes the reel's weight. Line capacity depends on the actual line diameter and how it is loaded. The bearing option marked 6 refers to the 5+1 bearing arrangement.

Available colours

All sizes share a gunmetal-grey, silver and black finish with red spool trim. The cork grips have red end caps. The optional double handle has a silver arm with two matching cork grips.

A spare or medium-depth spool is not included in the listed handle packages.

On the water and care

Match the selected size to your rod, line and lure setup for freshwater lure fishing, estuary sessions or squid fishing around sheltered coastal ground. Set the drag to suit your rod and line rather than the reel's maximum drag figure.

The seals help limit water entry but do not make the reel suitable for immersion. After saltwater use, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water, dry it and maintain moving parts regularly.
