The Seaguar Tatsu is a 100% fluorocarbon fishing line built using Seaguar’s proprietary DSF (Dual Structure Fluorocarbon) co-extrusion process — two different fluorocarbon compounds extruded simultaneously to form a single line with a softer, more flexible outer layer bonded to a stiffer, higher-tensile inner core. This dual-compound construction allows the Tatsu to achieve properties that a single-compound fluorocarbon cannot simultaneously optimise: the softer outer layer improves casting smoothness, lowers memory and reduces coiling off the spool, while the stiffer inner core maintains the high tensile and knot strength needed for consistent performance under load. Made in Japan on 183M (200 yard) spools across 10 line classes from 4lb to 25lb.
