Quantité

The Daiwa Revros LT (2019) is the first-generation Revros built on Daiwa’s LT (Light and Tough) platform, featuring the Air Rotor system, light composite housing and machined aluminium handle. The LT concept reduced reel weight significantly over Daiwa’s previous-generation Revros — the 2000 model dropped approximately 57g (2oz) and the 4000 model dropped approximately 142g (5oz) while maintaining the same drag capacity and line capacity through the lighter composite housing. Available in 8 variants across sizes 1000 to 5000 in low and high gear ratio configurations. Made in Vietnam.

Daiwa LT Range — Where the Revros LT (2019) Sits

  • Revros LT (2019) ($124.95–$164.95) — first-generation LT entry reel; Air Rotor, composite housing, machined aluminium handle
  • Revros CS LT (2024) ($124.95–$229.95) — updated Revros generation; wider size range including up to 6000D
  • Legalis LT ($159.95–$199.95) — step-up from the Revros; upgraded construction and finish
  • Exceler LT (2023) ($169.95–$209.95) — mid-range LT; deeper D-spool models available
  • Fuego LT (2025) ($189.95–$219.95) — full carbon frame, rotor and body cover

Key Features

  • Air Rotor system — Daiwa’s Air Rotor is 15% lighter than comparable rotors of the same size and is balanced for smooth, consistent retrieve feel; the reduced rotating mass of the rotor lowers the overall reel weight and reduces the inertia the handle must overcome at the start of each retrieve stroke
  • Light composite housing — the composite housing significantly reduces reel weight compared to the previous generation Revros — the 2000 model reduced by approximately 57g and the 4000 model by approximately 142g — while maintaining the structural strength needed for the gearing system
  • Machined aluminium handle — machined aluminium handle arm for smooth, direct power transfer to the main gear; more rigid than plastic handles under load
  • Low and high gear ratio options — available in both low (power) and high (speed) gear ratio configurations across the size range for different fishing techniques
  • Ambidextrous — handle can be fitted to left or right side
  • Made in Vietnam — manufactured at Daiwa’s Vietnam facility to Daiwa’s quality standards

Size and Gear Ratio Guide

  • 1000 / 2000 — ultralight to light freshwater; bream, trout, bass and whiting on light line
  • 2500 / 3000 — light to medium inshore; bream, flathead, snapper on 6–10lb line (note: 2500 and 3000 not listed in current variants — check availability)
  • 4000 — medium inshore and light surf; tailor, salmon, trevally on 10–15lb line
  • 5000 — heavier inshore and surf; mulloway, snapper and heavier surf species on 15–20lb line
  • Low gear ratio — more cranking torque per handle turn; suited to soft plastics, bottom fishing and techniques requiring sustained retrieve power
  • High gear ratio — faster line recovery per handle turn; suited to surface lures, fast retrieves and picking up slack line quickly after a strike
