SeaSir Synco Baitcasting Reel | Three Gear Ratios

The SeaSir Synco baitcasting reel offers three gear ratios so you can match your retrieve to the way you fish. Choose 6.4:1 for a measured retrieve, 7.3:1 for versatile lure work or 8.1:1 for faster slack pickup, with left- and right-hand retrieve options in every ratio.

Features

• Magnetic casting brakes to help control spool speed.
• 5+1 double-shielded stainless-steel bearings, with NMB bearings.
• Brass gearing and a high-strength nylon body.
• Standard-depth, ported short-shaft spool.
• Tapered line guide.
• Multi-layer drag system with an audible drag clicker.
• Approximately 195g reel weight and up to 8kg maximum drag.

Choose your gear ratio and retrieve hand

• 6.4Gear Ratio left: 6.4:1 gearing, left-hand retrieve, approximately 66cm line pickup per handle turn.
• 6.4Gear Ratio right: 6.4:1 gearing, right-hand retrieve, approximately 66cm line pickup per handle turn.
• 7.3Gear Ratio left: 7.3:1 gearing, left-hand retrieve, approximately 78cm line pickup per handle turn.
• 7.3Gear Ratio right: 7.3:1 gearing, right-hand retrieve, approximately 78cm line pickup per handle turn.
• 8.1Gear Ratio left: 8.1:1 gearing, left-hand retrieve, approximately 86cm line pickup per handle turn.
• 8.1Gear Ratio right: 8.1:1 gearing, right-hand retrieve, approximately 86cm line pickup per handle turn.

Left or right refers to the hand used to wind the handle. Line pickup varies with the amount of line on the spool. The option names identify gearing and retrieve hand, not different colours.

All six options share a black and metallic dark-red finish, with a black spool, black twin-paddle handle and black grips. Select the ratio and retrieve hand that suit your setup.

What's included

One SeaSir Synco baitcasting reel with a standard spool, in the selected gear ratio and retrieve configuration.

On the water

Pair the Synco with a suitable baitcasting rod for bass, redfin or estuary lure fishing. A slower retrieve can help you work steadily moving lures, while faster gearing picks up slack between rod movements. Adjust your retrieve to the lure rather than relying on the gear ratio alone.

Setup and care

Start with a higher magnetic-brake setting and tune it gradually to your lure weight and casting technique. Set the drag to suit your rod and line. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water and dry it thoroughly; do not immerse the reel. Maintain the bearings and moving parts regularly.
