The SeaSir Stream ultralight spinning reel pairs a compact nylon body with an aluminium spool and screw-in aluminium handle for light-tackle lure fishing. Choose the 800S or 1000 to suit your line capacity needs, with both sizes featuring 5.4:1 gearing, 5+1 bearings and carbon drag washers.

Choose your size

  • 800S: approximately 142g, with line capacity of 0.16mm/140m or 0.20mm/90m.
  • 1000: approximately 139g, with line capacity of 0.20mm/130m or 0.23mm/95m.

The options identify reel sizes, not different colours. Weights are approximate and exclude fishing line. Capacity depends on the actual line diameter and how it is loaded.

Light-tackle fishing

Pair the Stream with a suitable light or ultralight spinning rod for trout streams, redfin sessions or small-lure work around sheltered banks. Choose your line and leader to suit the rod and target fish. The reel's maximum drag is not a rod lifting capacity; set the drag for the line and rod you use.

Care

Keep sand and grit away from the moving parts, clean and dry the reel after fishing, and maintain the bearings regularly. After saltwater exposure, gently rinse the exterior with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the reel.
