How the Propeller Works

The ABS plastic propeller is mounted on a pin at the tail of the lure. On the retrieve, water pressure turns the propeller, creating three simultaneous triggers: surface churning (visual disturbance that creates a bubble trail and broken water surface visible to predators looking up), sound (the propeller rotation creates a gurgling/popping noise audible to fish at range), and water displacement (the prop pushes water sideways through the hole in the blade, spreading the disturbance pattern over a wider area than a simple surface lure would create). The propeller rotates freely on the straight retrieve at any speed — slow, medium or fast — making this one of the most technique-forgiving surface lures in the range. If the propeller rotation becomes stiff or uneven, the pin screw at the tail can be adjusted to free the rotation.

Straight Retrieve vs Walk-the-Dog
