The HISTAR MS-XII range offers two-tip carbon construction in spinning and casting configurations. Select the rod type, length and paired tip powers that suit your reel and lure selection.

Pack the sectional rod for your next session and choose the appropriate tip for your tackle. The listed lengths are separate model choices, not an adjustable-length feature. Spinning configurations pair with spinning reels; casting configurations pair with baitcasting reels.

Match the ratings below to the rod configuration you select. Ratings vary by model and do not apply across the entire range.

• 2.1m red casting, L/ML: 2–10lb line, 5–15g lures, PE 1.0–1.5; rod weight 158g and closed length 110cm.
• 2.1m spinning, M/ML, red/blue/gold: 4–12lb line, 5–18g lures, PE 1.0–2.0; rod weight 151g and closed length 110cm.
• 2.1m casting, M/MH, blue/gold/lake blue/green: 4–12lb line, 5–18g lures, PE 1.0–2.0; rod weight 158g and closed length 110cm.
• 2.4m casting, M/MH, blue/gold/lake blue/green: 4–12lb line, 5–18g lures, PE 1.0–2.0; rod weight 178g and closed length 126cm.
• 2.4m spinning, M/ML, red/blue/gold: 4–12lb line, 5–18g lures, PE 1.0–2.0; rod weight 167g and closed length 126cm.
• 2.46m red casting, M/ML: 4–16lb line, 5–20g lures, PE 1.0–2.0; rod weight 150g and closed length 127cm.

Choosing your configuration

L means light, ML medium-light, M medium and MH medium-heavy. Paired power labels refer to the two-tip configurations. Check the rod type, length, colour and power combination before ordering. If you are unsure which similarly named option to choose, contact us before purchasing.
