HISTAR Solomon II Carbon Fishing Rod

Choose a compact light-lure outfit with the HISTAR Solomon II. This two-piece carbon rod range includes spinning and bait-finesse casting models, with cork grips and DKK SiC guides. Ultralight and light options let you match small lures to the water you're fishing, from stream trout presentations to light soft-plastic work.

Choose spinning or casting

Models beginning with S are spinning rods for spinning reels. Models beginning with C are casting rods for compatible baitcast reels, including BFS reels suited to light lures. Choose the model to match your reel and intended lure weight; these are separate rod configurations, not a rod that converts between both.

• C482UL: casting; 1.42m; 81g; UL power; moderate-fast action; 0.6–6g lures; 2–6lb line; approximately 75.5cm packed length.
• C562UL: casting; 1.68m; 90g; UL power; moderate-fast action; 0.6–6g lures; 2–6lb line; approximately 89cm packed length.
• C602L: casting; 1.83m; 106g; L power; fast action; 1–8g lures; 3–8lb line; approximately 96.5cm packed length.
• S502UL: spinning; 1.52m; 90g; UL power; moderate-fast action; 0.6–6g lures; 2–6lb line; approximately 81cm packed length.
• S562UL: spinning; 1.68m; 95g; UL power; moderate-fast action; 0.6–6g lures; 2–6lb line; approximately 89cm packed length.
• S662L: spinning; 1.98m; 108g; L power; fast action; 1–8g lures; 3–8lb line; approximately 104cm packed length.

All models have two sections. UL means ultralight power, L means light power, MF means moderate-fast action and F means fast action. Rod and packed-length measurements are approximate.
